Special feeding system for broiler breeders

With ReproMatic, Big Dutchman offers an exclusive feeding system for broiler breeders. It is a combination of chain feeding and pan feeding. During rearing, the uniform development of all birds, both physical and sexual, is important.

Then, in the production phase, a high, constant and lasting reproductive capacity is sought. For this, restrictive feeding of hens and roosters is essential. This in turn means that at the start of feeding, feed must be immediately available in each pan. Therefore, an open feed channel with chain is used as the transport system, which offers a high conveying capacity.

The birds feed at the specially developed FluxxBreeder pans, which have 16 feeding windows to guarantee sufficient space for each bird during feed intake.

FluxxBreeder

The feed pan for rearing and production with one- or two-phase cycles

The goal in rearing is to control the development of the birds so that, in the same flock, all hens begin laying activity at the same time. A uniform flock can only be produced if each bird has a feeding space of sufficient width.

In addition, the speed and fill level of the pans must be synchronized so that all birds receive their feed immediately and at the same time. Only in this way, with restrictive feeding, is it possible for all birds in the flock to consume the same amount of feed during the feeding period.

Rearing

The 360° filling mechanism ensures a high feed level in the pan, with the entire circuit lowering to the floor → ideal for day-old pullets.
The feed level is adjusted easily and safely in 11 positions, by means of a triple thread, with one hand → an accidental readjustment of the level is not possible.
The flat sectional pan allows a good distribution of feed in the pan; this reduces losses.
The integrated feed volume reducing cone allows small amounts of feed per pan → quick and simultaneous filling of all pans in the circuit.
