Big Dutchman's Combi-Tunnel ventilation is a very successful ventilation system, proven for many years. It guarantees optimal climatic conditions for the animals worldwide, at any time, and ensures safe production.
Two different ventilation systems come together for smart climate control:
Tunnel mode | When outdoor temperatures are high, ventilation is in tunnel mode. This ensures a good cooling effect with low energy consumption.
Side mode | When outdoor temperatures are low, ventilation is in side mode. Thanks to the individualized guidance of fresh air, temperatures throughout the barn are very uniform.
Key advantages:
- A wide temperature range is covered →ideal for all climate zones;
- optimal temperatures in the barn throughout the season → healthy animals, high performance, good feed utilization, low mortality;
- at low outdoor temperatures, side mode allows the exact regulation of reduced air rates → very uniform temperatures throughout the barn;
- at high outdoor temperatures, tunnel mode allows working with high air speeds in the animal area → the windchill effect is utilized;
- with the ViperTouch climate computer, an efficient transition from side mode to tunnel mode and vice versa is possible.
