A feeding system for poultry fattening imposes certain special requirements depending on the feed distribution mode (on demand or restricted), the age and the type of birds.

It must cover both the needs of day-old chicks and those of heavy birds. Important is easy access to food and avoiding feed losses.

To meet these requirements as best as possible, we offer our customers different feed pans, which can be filled with feed using the efficient AugerMatic transport system:

BigPan Plus

for controlled broiler fattening and duck rearing

Currently, mainly the birds that reach more than 2 kg of live weight are fed in a restricted manner. Thus the development of the circulatory system, the heart and the skeleton can better adapt to the weight gain. The prerequisite is that, in each feeding process, the system distributes the feed throughout the barn quickly.

The AugerMatic with the BigPan Plus pan is ideal for this. The volume-reducing cone, in combination with the compartmentalized pan, reduces the amount of feed by approx. 2/3. In this way, the pans of a line can be quickly filled with feed.

MultiPan & MultiPan Plus

Adaptable feed pans for rearing and fattening

Do you want to face the variable demands of the poultry meat market and be able to react flexibly? Then choose MultiPan or MultiPan Plus from Big Dutchman. These feed pans are specially developed for the alternating fattening of chickens, turkeys, ducks and other birds (guinea fowl, pheasants or geese) up to a live weight of 12 kg.

Depending on the type of animal and feeding (on demand or restricted), the MultiPan or the MultiPan Plus can be used. For fattening birds up to approx. 2.5 kg live weight and for turkey and duck rearing, the pans without feed-saving collar are used. From a fattening weight of approx. 2.5 kg, a collar is fitted that prevents feed loss.
