Automatic chain feeding system
for modern poultry management
Already in 1938, Big Dutchman presented the world's first automatic chain feeding. The fact that daily manual feeding was so laborious led to the idea of feeding the birds automatically. That was the beginning of a new era in poultry management. With its robust and simple structure, this feeding system has proven its effectiveness millions of times to this day.
The basic concept with feed hopper, drive unit, corner, feeder and CHAMPION feeding chain remains the same. Even so, the system is continuously improved and adapted to the updated requirements of modern poultry management. Big Dutchman's CHAMPION feeding chain can be used universally for breeders, pullets from day one, and layer hens.
Key advantages:

- to increase feed consumption, with the feeder still full, the chain can be activated to encourage intake;
