Nipple drinkers
hygienic drinking-water supply for your animals
Nipple drinkers provide clean drinking water. They are economical and barely accumulate impurities. The precise height is crucial to minimise water losses. When drinking, the pig's head should point diagonally upwards. For this reason, in piglet rearing (weaning) and fattening it makes sense to place the water outlets at different heights. To meet market needs, Big Dutchman offers a wide range of drinker nipples and their corresponding pipes. These include:

Bowl drinkers
minimal water losses and easy for the animals to use
The animals accept bowl drinkers very well. The side rim makes the head disappear into the bowl when drinking. This reduces water losses. Bowl drinkers are especially suitable for piglets. As piglets can see the water, they quickly accept this drinker. Placed low in the farrowing pen, special bowl drinkers can also be shared by the sow and the piglets.

Water connection unit

In addition to the drinkers themselves, a complete drinking system also includes the water connection unit. It is installed between the main water pipe and the house pipe, and offers the following advantages:

Medicator and tank for mixing medication
precise dosing of medication through the drinking water
The medicator doses the desired vitamins and medications into the drinking water. The amount to be dosed is adjusted very precisely, because the preparations are added in proportion to the actual water consumption of the drinking system. The water is mixed with the corresponding preparation at the outlet of the mixing tank. This prevents clogging in the motor, as it does not come into contact with the preparation.

SonicClean
ultrasound for cleaning drinker lines
In addition to the drinkers themselves, a complete drinking system also includes the water connection unit. It is installed between the main water pipe and the house pipe, and offers the following advantages:

With SonicClean we offer you a highly effective cleaning method for drinker lines, based on the proven results of ultrasound technology. For this, an ultrasound-wave-generating actuator is placed in the water line via a T-piece, preferably at the outlet of the water connection unit.
The ultrasound waves spread through the water and thus reach every corner. Sediments are broken up and further build-up due to microorganisms is effectively prevented. The ultrasound actuators remain active for as long as there is water in the drinker line. Energy consumption is minimal. One actuator is sufficient for lines of up to 350 m.
Fixed soaking system
for professional house cleaning
Key advantages:
The support Big Dutchman offers, with the soaking system and the control unit, facilitates sanitation, shortens the cleaning time after the batch and thus saves working time. The amount of water needed by the high-pressure cleaner is also considerably reduced.
The spraying and pause intervals of the soaking system can be set individually, depending on the degree of soiling, via the control of solenoid valves installed between main and secondary pipes. Nozzles are available in 360° or 180°. The flexible suspension of the soaking system prevents damage from the high-pressure cleaner's water jet. The system can be easily adapted to the dimensions of each house.
