Nipple drinkers
hygienic supply of drinking water for your animals
In modern poultry management, nipple drinkers have given good results in the hygienic and reliable water supply. The nipples of our drinkers differ from each other:
- 360° nipples with vertical and horizontal actuation,
- Nipples that are only actuated vertically.
A complete nipple drinker system needs, in addition to the nipples, other important components that we can offer you in different designs:

Penduval 2
special hygienic drinker for turkey rearing and fattening
Penduval 2 is the special turkey drinker in our product range. It supplies animals of any age (including turkeys over 20 kg live weight) with sufficient clean drinking water.
The drinker consists of a 28 mm nipple tube, a steel-reinforced two-arm cup – which offers open water to the animals – and also two pendulum nipples. This ensures perfect access to drinking water and high reliability in the water supply.
Pekino
duck drinker for greater animal welfare
Pekino is a drinker developed by Big Dutchman in collaboration with the Osnabrück vocational university and staff with great practical experience. It satisfies in an exemplary way the biological requirements of ducks regarding water. The ducks can drink from the cup perfectly and, due to its special design, can also wash the beak and completely submerge the head. These are important requirements for the healthy management of ducks and thus for the best profitability in fattening.
Key advantages:
- The cup, with an elongated deep funnel shape, adapts optimally to the biological needs of the ducks→adequate water supply for the animals;
- With a movable pendulum, the duck itself triggers the new water supply;
- The duck's beak reaches the reinforced bottom of the cup → prevents the deposit of suspended matter;
- Water losses from the drinker overflowing are significantly reduced with a return slot;
- The use of Pekino allows you the healthy management of your ducks;
- The requirements of article 11, paragraph 2 of the Council of Europe recommendations are met.
Bell drinkers
free access to water, for all types of poultry
In our product range, in addition to nipple drinkers there are bell drinkers, which can be used according to the type and weight of the animal.
The bell drinkers are mainly placed in suspension. Thanks to the fine water jet that falls along the bell, it gets less dirty and the water cannot splash over the edge of the tray. This avoids water losses and the formation of ammonia in the barn, due to wet litter.
Suspension systems

The drinker lines used for floor poultry management must be adjustable in height according to the age of the animals. This is of utmost importance. Only when the animals stretch upward to drink is sufficient and easy water consumption possible – without splashing.
Drinker and feeder lines, installed in suspension, can be easily raised to the ceiling using winches. This greatly facilitates the entry and exit of the animals, as well as the cleaning of the barn.
Water connection unit with medicator
for more clarity and better functionality
The water connection unit is an indispensable component of the drinking system. It is installed in the service room, between the water network and the drinker lines. Depending on what you want, a combination of different components can be established. These include water filter, pressure reducer, medicator bypass and water meter.
The medicator doses the desired preparations into the drinking water. The amount to be dosed is adjusted very precisely, because it is added to the drinking system proportionally to the actual water consumption.
SonicClean
Ultrasound to clean drinker lines
With SonicClean we offer you a very effective cleaning method for drinker lines, based on the good results of ultrasound technology.
For this, an ultrasound wave-generating actuator is placed in the water conduit, by means of a T-piece, preferably at the outlet of the water connection unit. The ultrasound waves spread through the water and thus reach every corner. The sediments break up and other adhesions due to microorganisms are effectively avoided.
