With Big Dutchman's UNIVENT Starter you select the bestseller among rearing equipment. This renowned system has demonstrated magnificent performance in rearing processes, and is also synonymous with high quality. To satisfy the different requirements of our customers, we can supply UNIVENT Starter with or without manure belt aeration.
Our UNIVENT Starter has two different tiers to cover the different needs of day-old chicks and young hens.
- the starting tier (rearing) and
- the growth tier (grow-out).
The quality and uniformity of the young hens are decisive qualities for the subsequent laying performance. Therefore, for success in rearing, the following requirements are very important:
- uniform and fast feed distribution;
- drinking water in sufficient quantity;
- grid partitions for better animal control;
- reduction of ammonia emissions.
