Uniform feed structure
The hammer mills from Big Dutchman operate with a drive power of between 11 and 45 kW. Depending on the requirements —for example, a fine grind or a feed with larger granulometry (structure)—, different mill and screens.
The special grinding control system guarantees that the dosing auger correctly supplies the mill with the material to be processed. In this way, the feed rate adapts automatically according to the type of ingredient transported.
The type of mill installed (single, double or parallel) is defined according to the needs of performance (throughput). Once processed, the flour (ground feed) can be transported by various elements (bucket or chain elevators, or channel augers).
